Adventure
Grow a shoal. Protect it. Restore the Beacon.
Your first fish and first Beacon
Feed your Sunfin. Choose Pellets, then click near it in open water. Keep feeding as it gets hungry.
Let it grow. Babies make no coins. Fed young Sunfin drop bronze coins; adults drop silver.
Collect the coins. Click the coins themselves. Food spoils quickly after reaching the floor.
Finish the tasks and buy the Beacon. Watch the objective panel. In 1-1, the first Beacon costs 90 coins.
How a stage ends
Normal stage: finish its listed tasks, keep any required fish alive, and buy all required Beacon pieces. A fish count or survival task is part of the goal, not a replacement for the Beacon.
Every 10th stage is a boss. Use the preparation countdown to feed, grow and stock up. Defeat the boss to finish; boss stages do not require a Beacon.
Fight without dropping dinner
Click enemies to attack. Use Attack Focus to keep clicks in attack mode so you do not accidentally drop food. Right-click cancels an active care item or attack focus. When the last enemy is gone, normal feeding returns.
Follow the entry warning to see where enemies will appear. An armored enemy shows BLOCK while its shell is closed. The dash monster opens before, during and after its dash: click during that opening. Bosses keep attacking while clicked, so also deal with their shots and hazards.
Match the meal to the mouth
Pellets do not feed every fish. Some need algae, minerals, insects, krill or food made by another species. Adventure predators need the exact smaller fish and age listed in the Fish Wiki.
Open the food selector, or hold right-click for the food wheel. Protein bites and Royal flakes grow pellet eaters faster; they do not replace special diets. Keep food makers fed and leave their useful drops for the fish that eat them.
Five seas, five kinds of trouble
Sea 1: build a growing food chain and defend the shoal.
Sea 2: leave flying poison alone. It can infect fish and contaminate food. Its brief floor splash fades. Use an Injection on sick fish; sick fish stop earning.
Sea 3: currents push fish into thorns. Hurt fish cannot eat or earn; use a Medkit. Grown armor and short guards help.
Sea 4: healthy fish make useful drops inside light. Feed living lamps and prepare for blackouts.
Sea 5: combine clean food, healing, thorn protection and light. Coralcrest can clean lasting poison puddles.
My Aquarium
A permanent home for care, collection and breeding.
Your own place to come home to
Clear 1-3 to unlock My Aquarium. Adoption unlocks follow cleared Adventure encounters. Each save has its own fish, nursery, coins, pearls and progress.
Owned Aquarium residents are safe from starvation and from being eaten as predator food. A hungry fish still stops earning. Basic Pellets are free here; other meals cost coins.
Coins, pearls and the clam
Coins pay for special meals, breeding and Aquarium upgrades. Income at home is slower than Adventure. Babies do not drop coins.
Pearls buy Aquarium fish and premium unlocks. Care for each fish with 3 real hungry meals. Each cared-for fish adds 1 pearl to the clam’s cycle, regardless of species or rarity. After 90 active Aquarium seconds and some care, the clam opens. Click it to claim.
Stored fish and uneaten food do not count. Claimable achievements and Adventure bosses are other pearl sources.
Manage fish, helpers and space
Use Fish Manager to inspect care, move fish between the tank and storage, sell a fish, or start a breeding pair. Storage keeps a fish temporarily outside the active tank.
Bring or rest unlocked helpers in My Aquarium. A green Bring button adds one; a red Rest button removes it. Adventure has a stage-specific helper team, not every pet you own. Capacity upgrades grow the tank toward 50 residents; Wide Aquarium adds connected sections.
Breed a pair and hatch a surprise
Raise two different owned fish to adults. Feed both to at least 70%, build Bond to 100 and let their rest timers finish.
Pick the first parent. The right side shows compatible, ready partners. Same-species pairs are supported; hybrids need a listed recipe and its Adventure unlock.
Check the price and time. Breeding spends Aquarium coins and pearls. Higher species tiers and parent rarity cost more. Longer breeding times are shown before you confirm.
Watch the nursery. Up to 6 pairs can have eggs, with room reserved in the tank or storage. The baby keeps its own rarity; the parents keep theirs.
Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary are color rarities. Higher-rarity parents improve the odds; an individual rare hatch is still not promised. Cross-breeding and rarity are separate rolls.
Battle Voyage
A hybrid team, automatic skills and your helping clicks.
Build a hybrid-only team
Hatch a hybrid to unlock Battle Voyage. Bring 1–5 owned hybrids of different species. Ordinary Adventure fish cannot join this mode.
Pick a mix of jobs rather than five similar attackers. The Fish Wiki lists each hybrid’s actual Battle skill, from shot blocking and healing to light, poison care and supply runs.
From monster waves to rival teams
Your fish swim and fight automatically while you help with clicks. Each sea has its own battles. Face monster waves before the rival hybrid encounter, with enemy teams growing from one fish toward five.
Watch the incoming warning, remove dangerous shots and respond to the sea’s hazards. Scrolling scenery shows the voyage continuing; you do not steer individual fish.
Learn what your team actually does
Skills are automatic and have their own charge, travel or rest conditions. Moonpatch needs a Battle care kit to deliver first aid; Crestpatch can open a reserve kit. Pebbleshell cleans floor poison, while Mistneedle intercepts falling poison shots. These are different jobs.
Battle has its own temporary combat state and supplies. It does not spend your Aquarium wallet or consume its food stock. Your owned Aquarium records stay separate.
Based on the current development build, v0.3.0-rc.62. Balance and controls can change during testing. In-game first-use tutorials and the Help menu remain available while playing.
